British scientists claim that children between the ages of two and four have very little exercise and exercise. And this is bad.
When I look at my youngest daughter, I am extremely happy. A kind of “energizer”, ready to be active, it seems to me, 24 hours a day. You’re tired, and she doesn’t even need to recharge her “batteries”. A two-year-old baby climbs everywhere, in summer it jumps on a trampoline, in winter it goes down a hill. She is interested in everything.
If you believe the British scientists from the National Health Center at Loughborough University, then this is wonderful. Only 9 percent of children between the ages of two and four are now truly active. This means that they move, jump, climb, play sports for at least three hours a day. But 91 percent of babies are classic sedentary sloths. Most of the time they sit in front of a TV screen or with a gadget.
And this, according to scientists, is very bad. Active kids are not only healthier and more physically developed. In the future, as adults, it will be easier for them to integrate into society. A more successful career awaits them at work, too.
Doctors even made recommendations for parents of inactive babies. For example, it is advised to set aside three hours a day for activities and do various exercises with your child. And pediatricians are urged to monitor the level of physical development of children without fail. They also advise parents to put running and games – in general, any movement – in the first place and only after that instill a love of reading and counting.
