Breaded appetizer: cooking for adults and children

The ruddy and crispy crust makes fried dishes especially appetizing, tasty and beautiful-and all thanks to the breading. 

This word is translated from French as “bread crumb”, since the breadcrumb mixture, in which pieces of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits or cheese are crumbled before frying, consists of crushed dry white bread. There are different breading recipes, in which you can find flour of different varieties, crushed hercules, corn flakes, vegetable chips, semolina, cheese, sesame, ground crackers or chips. Wet pieces of meat or fish are enough to roll in dry breading, and it is better to dip the slices of vegetables or cheese in a beaten egg first. Such a mixture consisting of milk and eggs is called lieson.

Spicy homemade fast food with chicken

Try to cook chicken nuggets in breadcrumbs from corn flakes, which perfectly replace crushed crackers. They turn out to be toasted on the outside and very tender inside.

Cut the chicken fillet into pieces (about 2 breasts) and make a batter of 150 ml of water, 1 egg and 180 g of flour. Add 1 tsp paprika, 0.5 tsp hot red pepper, a pinch of ground black pepper and herbal salt. Grind 5 tablespoons of corn flakes, but not in a coffee grinder — the pieces should be large.

Roll the chicken fillet in batter, and then in breadcrumbs — and into the pan! Fry them in hot oil for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown, put them on a waffle towel to remove excess fat, and serve with any sauce.

This dish is a full-fledged replacement for fast food. Corn-breaded nuggets can be taken with you to school or the office, because they are convenient to eat with your hands and they do not fall apart into pieces. If you are making a dish for children, do not put hot pepper and other burning seasonings in the batter.

Crispy sea fish

Many children who do not really like fish like fish sticks in breaded.They are much tastier than store-bought products, especially if you take for this white sea fish-cod, halibut or pangasius. Cut 1-1. 5 kg of fish fillet into cubes and season them on both sides with salt and black pepper.

In one bowl, mix half a cup of flour, salt, black pepper and seasoning for fish — in arbitrary proportions. In another cup, prepare a batter of 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 0.5 tsp of mustard and 50 g of flour. The dough should have the consistency of liquid sour cream.

Fry 2 cups of breadcrumbs in 30 g of butter until golden brown and put them in a third bowl.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C and prepare a grill or baking sheet for baking fish, which should be pre-greased with vegetable oil.

Roll the fish in flour, then dip it in the batter and place it in breadcrumbs. Bake the fish sticks for 15 minutes and serve them with tartar sauce. It is prepared from half a glass of natural yogurt, 2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise, 1.5 tbsp. l. finely chopped pickles, 0.5 tbsp. l. mustard, 0.5 tbsp. l. lemon juice, salt and black pepper to taste.

Baked fish is incredibly juicy and delicious and at the same time not greasy, which is especially important if you are on a diet. This dish is ideal for a snack outside the house, because your hands will not get dirty in oil.

Snack “Cheese-nut tenderness”

Mozzarella breaded from pine nuts is an exquisite delicacy that will appeal to both adults and children. This is a great snack for a family dinner, and for a festive banquet.

Fry the ciabatta pulp in a frying pan without a crust — a small piece weighing about 15 g. The bread should be crisp and golden. Mix it with 1 tablespoon of pine nuts and chop it in a blender as small as possible. Add sesame seeds to the finished mass.

And now rub the dry breadcrumbs well with 4 tsp of pesto sauce and roll mozzarella balls in it-about 6 pieces, it all depends on their size.

Place the diced juicy tomato on a plate, slightly salted and seasoned with olive oil. Place the breaded mozzarella, 2 tsp pesto sauce and arugula leaves next to it. Tender cheese with a crispy crust, vegetables and herbs is an appetizer for real gourmets who adhere to the principles of healthy eating, because in this recipe the cheese does not need to be fried.

Zucchini in a spicy “fur coat”

Breaded vegetables are an ingenious way to make them tastier and more appetizing for children. This is much easier than persuading kids to eat a spoon for dad, for mom and for all the other relatives. Alas, not all kids love vegetable dishes, but it is impossible to resist zucchini sticks in cheese breading!

Cut 2-3 zucchini or zucchini along the entire length into 1.5 cm wide bars. If the vegetables are young, it is not necessary to cut off the peel. In one cup, whisk 2 eggs, in the other, mix a glass of breadcrumbs, 100 g of grated parmesan, a pinch of salt and spices to taste-dried garlic, herbs of Provence, ground coriander, cumin or cumin.

Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and grease it with oil. Dip the squash sticks in the eggs, roll them in cheese breadcrumbs and put them on a baking sheet. Drizzle the vegetables with olive oil and bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 220 °C.

This snack is prepared very simply, and the zucchini turns out soft and fragrant, and the toasted crust suits them very well — at least you will never have problems with a quick side dish!

Melted cheese under a crispy crust

All beer lovers know that the best snack is breaded cheese sticks, and you can cook them in different ways. The easiest way is to cut 200 g of any hard cheese into cubes and roll them in 100 g of flour, while you can take not only wheat flour, but also rye, rice, buckwheat, chickpea or corn. Many cooks mix several types of flour — this makes it even tastier.

After that, dip the cheese sticks in the beaten egg and sprinkle with breadcrumbs-it’s enough to take 100 g. It will be even tastier if you add sesame, cumin and any spices that you like to them.

Now dip the snack in olive oil and fry until golden brown, then put the cheese sticks on napkins that will absorb excess fat. Serve them with sour sauce — cranberry, cranberry or dogwood. It is better to eat this dish hot until the melted cheese is frozen again. The crispy crust and soft cheese filling is a real pleasure!

Banana Miracle

It turns out that there are recipes for making desserts in a pan in a breaded pan, for example fried bananas, sweet, tender and fragrant. They can be poured with fruit sauce or decorated with whipped cream. And some gourmets serve them even with meat and poultry.

Fried bananas are cooked for a few minutes. Cut 700 g of fruit into thick pieces, dip them in 100 g of melted butter and roll in 120 g of breadcrumbs, which can be replaced with ground hercules. Fry the banana pieces in vegetable oil over low heat — on both sides until a golden crust forms.
