Bowl (bowl) is an English low-alcohol drink consisting of sparkling and table wine, fruits (berries), sugar and other ingredients (seasonings, spices, herbs). According to tradition, the boule is prepared in the presence of guests in a large spherical bowl with a volume of 2-3 liters, made of crystal, glass or metal.
Unlike punch, boules are always drunk cold. In winter it is served at room temperature, and in summer it is cooled to 10-12°C. There is no single generally accepted bowl recipe, the main thing is to add wine and fruits (berries).
Ingredients:
- champagne – 750 ml;
- dry wine (red or white) – 750 ml;
- sugar – 100-150 grams;
- fruits (any) – 3-4 pieces or 500 grams of berries;
- spices and seasonings – to taste (optional);
- whiskey (cognac) – 100 ml (optional);
- ice cubes – 100-150 grams (optional).
Boules are often made with oranges, lemons, peaches, apples and pineapples (half a fruit) and even melons. Different fruits can be combined in one drink. Of the berries used: cherries, strawberries, strawberries, raspberries.
Fruit pairs best with white wine, berries with red.

1. Fruit cut into small slices. Apples can be grated. Crush the berries and remove the seeds (if possible).
2. Put the pulp into a boule bowl. Add sugar, seasonings, spices, wine, strong alcohol. Mix. Close the lid.
3. Put in the refrigerator for 60-90 minutes.
4. Add champagne, mix.
5. Pour the finished bowl into red wine glasses. Add a few ice cubes if desired. The drink is served with a teaspoon, a dessert plate and a straw.
