The history of Jim Beam

It is believed that Jim Beam is one of the few brands patented over 200 years ago.

At the end of the XNUMXth century, the American Jacob Beam built a water mill on the banks of the river to process corn kernels for the production of whiskey.

The alcohol business was gaining momentum every year, and more and more connoisseurs of bourbon appeared.

The secret of making whiskey was passed down from generation to generation, until Jacob’s great-grandson, Jim Beam, became the owner of the production.

Thanks to him, bourbon became the official brand of the same name, and the company continued to operate even during Prohibition in the United States.

An interesting fact is that in the XNUMXst century, the Jim Beam brand is still supervised by the descendants of the legendary Jacob.

Seven of the eight wine experts who evaluate the quality of Jim Beam whiskey were his relatives.
