To make Bonn soup, you will need: – 2 medium-sized carrots; – 500 grams of white cabbage; – 300 grams of cauliflower; – 3 bell peppers; – 3 onions; – 3 tomatoes; – 1 celery (root and stem); – 5 cloves of garlic; – 1 bunch of green onions; – Condiments (bay leaf, cumin, coriander, curry, ginger, soy sauce and hot red pepper).
Pour 3 liters of water into a saucepan and put on medium heat. Wash vegetables, peel and cut into cubes or strips. As soon as the liquid boils, add the ingredients and continue to cook the soup for 40-50 minutes, then add the spices and herbs. Leave on low heat for another 7-10 minutes.
