Body adjustment.

Body alignment includes alignment with posture, gestures, breathing, and internal rhythm.

Quite often, these adjustments are made between people automatically, unconsciously. So, for example, if several people are sitting on a bench in a row, with their legs crossed (and all in one direction), then if one of them changes his leg, then the rest repeat it almost immediately after him. It’s just what everyone wanted.

So, direct posture adjustment consists in carefully looking at and evaluating the position of the partner’s body, taking the position as close as possible.

Naturally, having done this not deliberately, but slowly, so as not to create the impression of mimicry. The mirror adjustment is no worse when you repeat the partner’s pose with its symmetrical reflection: the main thing is to maintain the overall pattern, if you want, the mood of the pose.

If the partner, during the conversation, put his elbow on the back of the sofa and began to thoughtfully straighten his hair with a brush, then if after a minute, without interrupting the conversation, you naturally want to do the same, then the partner will not notice anything except what you have with him good understanding.

The partner is leaning over the table, drawing a diagram of the project on the sheet — you may have good enough eyesight to see his drawing from afar, but it is better to move closer to the table and lean in the same way as the partner did. And when he leans back from the table, you, having immediately understood everything in the project, will do the same.

In addition to direct and mirror adjustment, adjustment through the addition works fine (more precisely, call it the Extension).
