Bobik K – indications, contraindications, dosage

Bobik K is a dietary food for special medical purposes containing vitamin K. Vitamin K contributes to the proper blood clotting and the maintenance of healthy bones. The product is intended for children who are exclusively breastfed. The preparation is available in the form of drops squeezed from twist-off capsules.

Bobik K – indications

Bobik K is a preparation used in the dietary management of breastfed newborns and infants from 8 days of age to 3 months of age.

  1. Helps maintain healthy bones and teeth thanks to the content of vitamin D.
  2. Promotes blood clotting.
  3. Maintains the appropriate concentration of vitamin D3 and K in the body.

Bobik K versus contraindications and caution

  1. Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
  2. the preparation should not be used parenterally,
  3. keep the drug out of the reach of children and at room temperature,
  4. to maintain good condition, use a varied diet and be physically active,
  5. do not exceed the recommended dose of the preparation,
  6. the preparation Bobik K may be a threat to infants in the case of no medical indications resulting from the intended use of the product.

Dosage of the preparation Bobik K

Bobik K is recommended for newborns from 8 years of age and babies up to 3 months of age, breastfed. The tip of the capsule must be twisted and torn off, and then the content of 1 capsule should be squeezed into the expressed mother’s milk or directly into the baby’s mouth. During administration of the preparation, special care should be taken to prevent the child from swallowing the capsule. Once empty, the capsule must be discarded.

  1. 25 mg (the content of 1 capsule to be opened) once a day, during feeding.
