The reasons for the fear of rich colors on the face can be different. For example, an offensive word from adults addressed to a girl who first tried her mother’s cosmetics. Some have experimented radically with their appearance as teenagers and, as adults, do not want to associate themselves with that image. Some people are naturally shy. Reasons for rejection abound.
But this sometimes turns into a problem: a catchy bow is an indispensable part of the evening dress code, good photos and, of course, flirting. In addition, a properly executed make-up allows not only to hide flaws, correct facial features, but also significantly increase self-esteem.

Yes, lockdown measures are being eased. During this time, beauty brands not only released a lot of new products, but also refreshed fashion make-up rules.
All the makeup artists we interviewed were glad that complex, elaborate makeup was a thing of the past.
“What home-grown Instagram bloggers imposed on us — (an extremist organization banned in Russia) different types of gradients, multicolor, contrasting outline — is forgotten. The mouth should not look like it was drawn separately and glued to the face. Rather, like wearing makeup an hour or two ago, ”says Anastasia Kirillova, national makeup artist for Armani Beauty in Russia.
Olga Komrakova, head of Clarins Makeup in our country, agrees with her: “No clear contour or complex transitions. But at the same time, the effect of a “kissed”, blurry mouth has lost its relevance. To achieve a stylishly natural outline of the lips, when applying lipstick, I deliberately do not reach a millimeter to their border. Then, with a round brush — a “candle” for shadows, I go over the contour, slightly shading the product. So the border turns out to be fashionably blurry, but worked out. This technique will help to adapt any bright shades to the daytime look.
But despite the fact that gradients on the lips are out of fashion, experts do not advise abandoning this technique altogether. For example, the national makeup artist of YSL Beauty in Russia, Kirill Shabalin, likes to accentuate the middle of the mouth with a darker color in an Asian style. And Olga Komrakova, on the contrary, relies on a shining smear with a highlighter or shining pink powder in the center of her lips.

Makeup with an emphasis on the eyes requires certain skills. Many brands have made it easier for us by releasing eyeshadow palettes with application schemes attached to them.
