Blue clay for face

Benefits of blue clay for the face

What is useful blue clay for the face? Let’s make a reservation right away: in fact, it is not blue at all, but rather light green, even grayish, and feels like melted butter to the touch. “Elite” blue clay (it is also called Cambrian) is often faked – copper chlorophyllin is added to white or gray, and voila, it becomes a pale turquoise color, and in such a mask you resemble the Avatar character. It happens that the composition indicates that it is white clay with the addition of, say, kelp powder. Well, it’s completely charlatanism when gray therapeutic mud is given out as blue clay, which is also good for the skin, but still not like the blue original.

One of the most famous deposits of blue clay is located in the Crimea, not far from Sevastopol. In the bowels of the Sapun Mountain, it is mined by miners at a depth of 70-100 meters. You cannot buy this substance on the beach from local merchants – it is sold only in specialized stores, and it is quite expensive. But if the cherished bag is in your hands, know that it is really useful. According to expert dermatologist Garnier Marina Kamanina, blue clay:

  • effectively brightens age spots;

  • evens out skin tone;

  • successfully fights acne;

  • increase skin elasticity;

  • smoothes wrinkles and prevents their appearance;

  • accelerates cell renewal;

  • restores the epidermis;

  • well absorbs excess sebum, mattifies;

  • makes the skin smoother and more radiant;

  • suitable for all skin types.

Blue clay has a unique composition, it contains a lot of trace elements:
  • titanium;

  • potassium;

  • chromium;

  • copper;

  • sodium;

  • zinc;

  • silver;

  • iron;

  • silicon, etc.

Everything our skin needs to feel great.
