Blending – a technique for making cocktails

Blending technique, mixing (from English blending) – creation with the help of a blender or mixer of a semi-liquid homogeneous mass, which includes dense and astringent products (vegetables, fruits, berries, ice cream, etc.).

Allows you to get thicker cocktails based on cream, fresh fruit, ice, or, conversely, very airy and foamy cocktails.

To prepare a cocktail with a blending technique, put several pieces of ice into the mixer, add chopped fruits and other ingredients, beat for about 30 seconds. The cocktail is poured into a glass, decorated and served. Examples of such cocktails are Pina Colada, Frozen Margarita, Frozen Daiquiri.
