Bleeding after stopping the pill

Is there only withdrawal bleeding in the break between packs of tablets?

Please let me know if after finishing one pack of contraceptive pills, there is a withdrawal bleed first and then a normal menstruation and how long can it take? – Katie

There is only a withdrawal bleeding that looks like a period when you take the tablets. Menstruation is a physiological bleeding that occurs every month, which is why it is called that. There is no natural cycle during contraception, so menstruation is not natural but only from withdrawal (progesterone levels drop – similar to the natural cycle).
