The culture bears fruit with large berries, which are collected in numerous brushes. The fruits are resistant to direct sunlight – they do not bake, except in the absence of watering or at excessively high temperatures.

But this blackberry also has weaknesses:

• The variety cannot be called industrial, although its yield is quite high (especially for dessert blackberries). The bush is able to give up to 10 kg of fruit per season, but there are more generous blackberry varieties.
• Triple Crown is a blackberry that is not particularly winter hardy, so if you live in the northern regions, the crop will most likely not have time to ripen in full due to the early autumn.
• Low resistance to cold: without special protection against frost, such a bush will not survive the winter.

Thinness of planting and care

The triple crown is distinguished by its strength of growth: the ability to accelerate the growth of green mass. Therefore, there are some nuances in the care of such a culture.

Bushes of this variety should not be unnecessarily cut or rationed diligently. Due to the excess of vital energy, the Triple Crown Blackberry will form impenetrable thickets very quickly. This is the case when some thickening of the bush will only benefit him.

As already mentioned, this blackberry is particularly resistant to diseases, especially if you follow all the requirements for caring for the crop and prevent the development of weeds or waterlogging of the soil. Of the pests that can encroach on your Crown, the common aphid is the most common.

It is not difficult to fight aphids: dilute 200 g of tobacco dust per 10 liters of water, add 50 g of liquid laundry soap and run to the garden, spray the bushes with the resulting mixture. It is best to do this in the morning, before direct sunlight.
