Black, yellow and 8 more colors that you shouldn’t paint your nails

A pen with such a manicure is unlikely to be kissed to you.

The black color primarily symbolizes mourning. And it is associated with negativity and dark forces both in psychology and in omens. Also, black is an unnatural color for nails. Their natural color is pink. Blacks are too far from them, they can only be in a corpse, therefore, on a subconscious level, this can cause a certain fear and rejection.

Brown itself is a little rough for a manicure and can subconsciously cause undesirable comparisons. However, its shades are another matter. Feel free to look at the entire palette – terracotta, chestnut, amber, ocher, copper, iris and, of course, caramel, just for a cozy autumn.

Green is life itself. First of all, it is the abundant greenery of our planet. In addition, the green spectrum is best perceived by the eye. Looking at this color, a person relaxes, and his nervous system comes to calm. However, this color on the nails does not match at all with red lipstick, as well as with the clothes we usually wear, be it blue jeans, brown knee-high boots, or a little black dress.

Yellow is one of the faded colors in chemical reproduction. That the yellow felt-tip pen draws the weakest of all, that the yellow varnish will simply not be visible on your nails. When viewed not from a close distance, the manicure will seem expressionless.

Purple is the exact opposite of red, the classic and most popular color for manicure. If red evokes associations with passion, confidence, beauty, then, accordingly, purple is completely opposite.

White is good only as part of a French manicure, and in itself will raise doubts, and whether you are getting married, since it has long been considered a symbol of purity and new life. Therefore, for those who have been happily married for a long time, we do not recommend rejuvenating artificially like that.

Too saturated colors have long been out of fashion. With such nails, you will be known as a vulgar person or, even worse, not versed in life in general, or in its manicure trends in particular. And a woman is adorned with modesty, and not all the brightest.

If it’s winter, blue or gold are appropriate – as a symbol of the upcoming New Year’s holiday. If summer is here, switch to pink, or experiment with orange when heading out to sea. Just choosing a color for a manicure, despite the time of year outside the window, is like dressing for the weather.

Color not from the main palette

If the master offers you a choice of colors, the names of which you cannot pronounce, then you should not agree to them. Otherwise, an unusual shade will attract all attention to the nails, and not to you, and after all, a manicure is far from what men should pay attention to in the first place.

Most importantly, never paint your nails in a color you do not like for some reason, even if you pay tribute to fashion. Your manicure should bring joy first of all to you, and not create additional stress. In addition, if you make shellac, then you have to walk with it for a month, which in case of an unsuccessful choice of color can have a bad effect on the psyche.

Alisa Metelina, psychologist, specialist in relationships between men and women:

– I absolutely agree with the observations of the website Wday.ru regarding the fact that you should not paint your nails in unnatural colors for them, be it black, yellow, green, purple, brown. Nails of this color are found only in sick people. And healthy people have red blood flow to different organs. This means that a person is full of strength, capable of producing healthy offspring.

Acid colors are associated with teenage protest. If a woman chooses them, it means that she is not all emotionally harmonious. Such a woman can also bear and give birth to healthy offspring, but it is unlikely to raise correctly.

Unloved colors can remind you of long-forgotten negative experiences, so I support your advice to abandon them.
