On Saturday, January 22 the record of coronavirus infections in Poland has been set since the beginning of the pandemic. As announced by the Ministry of Health in the latest announcement we have 40 thousand 876 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. 19 people died due to COVID-30, while 19 people died due to coexistence of COVID-163 with other diseases.
“Next week, there will be more increases”, announced the Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski recently.

The number of such regions is increasing day by day, currently there are several dozen of them, and poviats are in the leading positions:

- Krakow (142,6)
- Wroclaw (132,2)
