Black Friday: 3 tips to keep you from being fooled

It’s not for nothing that Black Friday is called Greed Day – we willingly spend our funds on attractive discounts and even get into credit ones. And then, having had enough, we understand that we bought more than expected and not everything we needed and needed….

How not to be fooled by experienced marketers and your compliance? Here are some tips.

1. Make a list

The best Black Friday strategy is to implement what is called a wishlist. This is a shopping list that we compile according to our needs well before Black Friday. After all, when we go to the store and know what we came for, other products (even with a discount) attract our attention less.

2. Rate how true and great

The prices for the desired goods should be clarified a few days before the start of the promotion. Stores are focused on profit, and experienced marketers, not always decent ones, help them in this. And it may turn out that a week before Black Friday, the price of the product has increased, and then on the day of the action, the manufacturer shows a huge discount. This is just deception, so we must be vigilant.

It is impossible not to mention an equally frequent method when a discount is made for a very small amount. A new price tag is glued on top of the old price with a difference of only 2-5 percent. Therefore, if you know that this product costs 100 UAH before the sale, and now it is 95, then think carefully whether you really need it or, perhaps, for 100 UAH you can buy it and then be able to buy it?

3. Walk through a few shops

It makes sense to spend a little time and check prices in different stores. Most brands have moved some of their sales online, so this can be done from the comfort of your home. Take the time to do some research so you can find out which store has the biggest discount, which means you can save money.
