Biosoprolol – what it contains

The drug is used in people who have problems with the accelerated action and rhythm of the heart. Biosoprolol causes a pharmacological arrest of norepinephrine or adrenaline release. The active substance biosoprolol not only reduces the frequency of the contraction force of the heart muscle, but also reduces the ejection force, which in turn reduces blood pressure. Biosoprolol does not constrict the airways, which means that it is selective for beta 1 receptors and has no effect on beta 2 receptors, which are located in bronchial smooth muscles and are responsible for this activity.
