Biscuits “Goose feet” with cottage cheese. Video recipe
Wonderful cookies from childhood, delicate and delicious dessert made from curd dough. According to grandmother’s secret recipe, it is prepared quickly and easily. Perfect for a quiet family tea party, and even if someone does not really like cottage cheese on its own, these “crow’s feet” will appeal to him.
To prepare you will need:
– 150 grams of butter; – 150 grams of village cottage cheese; – 1 glass of flour; – 2 egg yolks; – half a glass of sugar; – half a glass of boiled water.
To prepare this dish, in addition to the listed ingredients, you will need a deep bowl, a coarse grater and food foil. The bowl should be wide and deep enough so that it is convenient to knead the dough in it.
Take the butter out of the refrigerator and rub it into a bowl on a coarse grater.
Do not take the oil out of the refrigerator beforehand. Frozen butter is easier to grate
Grind the curd thoroughly with your hands and add it to the butter. Mix all the ingredients well with your hands. Sift the flour through a sieve and add it to a bowl. Break two eggs, separate the yolks from the whites and add the yolks to the dough.
Some housewives use leftover whites to grease the top of the cookies before placing them in the oven.
Add two tablespoons of boiled water there. Stir the dough again until smooth. While mixing, the butter will melt and the dough will become firm and tough. If you have a mixer with a special dough attachment, you can use it. Next, wrap the dough in food foil and put it in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes (old recipes say that chilled dough rolls out more easily and also holds the desired shape better).
After the required time has elapsed, take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out thinly and thinly. After the dough is ready, make circles out of it with a mold or large saucer. One side of the circles should be dipped in sugar. Bend the circles with a crescent with the sugar side inward and again lower one side into the sugar. Fold in half again with the sugar side inward. And once again dip one side in sugar. Place the resulting “crow’s feet” on a pre-prepared and greased baking sheet.
If you are worried that your baked goods may burn, you can use parchment paper on the baking sheet.
Place a baking sheet with cookies in a well-heated oven (recommended temperature 180-200 degrees) and wait about 20-25 minutes. During this time, the cookie will rise and turn brownish-golden. Ready-made biscuits are recommended to be served with warm milk and strong hot tea.
