Combined preparation with an astringent effect

INDICATIONS AND DOSAGE

Rectal haemorrhoids. Adults. Rectally. 1–2 × / d suppository.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Do not use in children.

WARNINGS

If there is no improvement after a few days of treatment, a medical consultation is recommended. In the event of rectal bleeding or worsening of symptoms, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted immediately. When using the preparation, the stool may turn black due to the formation of bismuth sulphate. In pregnant women, the preparation can be used only when, in the doctor’s opinion, the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus; there are no data on the safety of the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

SIDE EFFECTS

Occasionally, hypersensitivity reactions and drying out of the rectal mucosa may occur.
