Bioaron C – indications and contraindications for use

Bioaron C is a drug used in family medicine and paediatrics, incl. to support the treatment of respiratory tract infections and prophylactically in infections. The preparation has immunostimulating and anti-cancer properties. Bioaron C is available as a syrup and is dispensed without a prescription.

Indications for use of Bioaron C.

Bioaron C is a herbal preparation consisting of: chokeberry juice, aloe vera leaf extract and vitamin C. The syrup is traditionally recommended in the supportive treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, treatment of colds and to improve the appetite. Bioaron C is also used in recurrent bacterial and viral infections.

Bioaron C – dosage

  1. Children 4-6. years of age: 5 ml 2 times a day before meals for 14 days.
  2. Children after 6 years of age: 5 ml 3 times a day before meals for 14 days.
  3. In order to improve the appetite, administer 5 ml of the preparation once 15 minutes before a meal.

Bioaron C and contraindications

Contraindications to the use of Bioaron C are:

  1. hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
  2. fructose intolerance,
  3. glucose-galactose malabsorption,
  4. sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

Bioaron C – warnings

Store Bioaron C at room temperature, in a dry place out of the reach of small children.
