Barely noticeable fragments of the violence filming the scene got into the frame. Suddenly, the detective himself becomes part of a brutal scenario where chilling revelations await him.

Businessman Matthew, on the eve of an important business trip, discovers his beloved in a restaurant where he dined, who mysteriously disappeared under very strange circumstances a few years ago. The protagonist forgets about everything: business, his current bride… His main goal now is to find his beloved at all costs and find out what happened on the day she disappeared.

«Remember” (2000) is an American-made puzzle film that received high marks from film critics around the world. The protagonist of the picture, Leonard Shelby, loses his wife and receives a rare form of amnesia. His wife was killed, after the injury he cannot remember the events that happened to him fifteen minutes ago. The only purpose of his life is to find the killer and pay him off in all respects. But how to do this if after a few minutes the memory becomes like a blank slate? The only chance for luck is to make notes to yourself on sheets of paper, photographs, and even the body in the form of tattoos.

French horror detectiveSilent Hill» (2006) ranked sixth in the list of puzzle films. The main character Rose is in search of a “cure” for her daughter Sharon, who suffers from a mental disorder. She goes with Sharon to the city of Silent Hill, the name of which her daughter constantly repeats in her sleep. Approaching an abandoned city, Rose sees a figure suddenly appear on the road and brakes sharply. The woman, having hit, loses consciousness. The protagonist of the film, the criminal James Cole, travels back in time in a built time machine to help scientists unravel the appearance of the virus and the mysterious twelve monkeys.

«Disappeared“(2014) – a puzzle film with a completely intricate plot and an unpredictable denouement. Married couple Emmy and Nick Dunn are on the cusp of celebrating five years together. The wife arranged unusual surprises for her husband every year. And on the eve of the solemn event, Emmy suddenly disappears. Returning from work, Nick does not find his wife in the house, which is very surprised. Soon he reports the missing wife to the police. The circumstances are such that everything speaks against the protagonist. The police suspect Nick of killing his wife, and now it remains for him to find evidence of his innocence in any way. But the more he tries to justify himself and find evidence that speaks in his favor, the more he “digs a hole for himself.” A smart wife did not forget to prepare a “gift” for her husband for the anniversary and left letters that clearly mention his involvement in the disappearance.
