Best cosmetic products of the year

On February 11, 2010, the Russian ceremony of presenting the most prestigious international award in the beauty industry, established in 1985 by the French magazine Marie Claire – PRIX D’EXCELLENCE DE LA BEAUTÉ (Prize of Splendor), took place at the fashionable Moscow restaurant Marusya.

The best cosmetic products of the year were presented in ten nominations. The expert jury evaluated the products according to the following criteria: concept, texture, design, efficiency, safety, trends, impression, originality, distribution, attractiveness.

The international jury traditionally consisted of representatives of glossy magazines in France and around the world, as well as independent experts in the field of beauty and health: Marie Claire (Italy, USA, UK, France, Spain, China, Russia), Cosmopolitan (France), Version Femina, Votre Beaute, Avantages, Femme Actuelle, Madame Figaro, Femmes, Prima, Marie France.

International award winners:

  • Capture Totale serum and care cream and Diorskin Nude foundation, Dior;

  • Foundation of instant response Teint Resist, Yves Saint Laurent;

  • Youth activator Genefique, Lancome;

  • Помада Perfect Red, Shiseido;

  • Hair dye Inoa, L’oreal Professionnel.

Russian jury prizes:

  • Dolce & Gabbana Make Up;

  • Skin care line Ultra Correction Line Repair, Chanel;

  • Lipstick Viva Glam, MAC.

Special prizes from the French jury:

  • Global Anti-Aging Care Premiere Cru, Caudalie;

  • The pioneer brand in the field of ecology and cosmetics Yves Rocher.

The award-winning cosmetic product receives the right to use the PRIX D’EXCELLENCE logo on packaging for a year, thereby confirming the authoritative recognition of the product’s quality and effectiveness for consumers.

In Russia, the PRIX D’EXCELLENCE DE LA BEAUTÉ award ceremony has been held since 2001. The presentation of the award turns into a unique social event that gathers the most sophisticated Moscow audience.
