Belogent is an ointment containing the active substances betamethasone (in the form of betamethasone dipropionate) and gentamicin (in the form of gentamicin sulphate).

The first substance has anti-inflammatory, anti-itching and vasoconstrictive properties. The second substance is an antibacterial antibiotic. We use the drug in patients who respond to corticosteroid therapy, if it is suspected or confirmed that a skin infection is caused by bacteria sensitive to gentamicin (susceptible strains of streptococci, golden staphylococcus, gram-negative bacteria). Belogent is used for the topical treatment of the skin of people over 13 years of age.
