Belenkaya

The word “little white” was colloquially synonymous with vodka even before Synergy acquired the rights to this trademark in 2007, and before a bottle with that name appeared on the label in 2001. “Go and buy a white one in the store!” – and now they say in Russian villages when they set the table for welcome guests. “White” means – clean, transparent, without the heavy smell and oiliness characteristic of moonshine. A unique ten-level method for purifying water and alcohols, an almost imperceptible delicate aroma and a mild taste without sharp alcohol accents are the main features of the popular brand.

On the bottle label, the manufacturer is designated as Synergy PJSC, since 2005 it has been one of the leaders in the Russian alcohol market with a 15% share in it. The company imports all types of strong alcohol, manages six distilleries, and its brand case includes vodka of all price segments, from the super-premium Beluga to the budget Gosudarev Zakaz.

Synergy is the exclusive supplier and promoter of the products of the famous Scottish William Grant & Sons in Russia. Glenfiddich, Clan McGregor, Grant’s, The Balvenie, Hendrick’s scotch tapes have become widely known to the Russian consumer largely due to the company’s distribution activities. Both the products of the French cognac house Camus and the Latvian balms Latvijas balzams appeared in Russia also thanks to her.

At the end of 2016, the net profit of Synergy amounted to 275 million rubles, which is 14% more than the result of 2015. In particular, shipments of own products increased by 18%, and imports increased by 44%.

And already in the summer of 2017, at the annual meeting of shareholders, it was decided to change the name of the company. Now it is called Beluga Group, by analogy with the Beluga vodka brand. The head of the board of the company, Alexander Mechetin, commented on this step as a desire to fully reflect the specifics of the activity and focus on product quality. According to him, the company continues to develop its international export business and its capabilities as an importer. According to 2017 data, Beluga Group products are successfully sold in seventy countries around the world.

How to distinguish a fake “Belenkaya”

“Belenkaya” is popular in Russia and therefore manufacturers have provided a number of protective measures to prevent possible falsification.

  1. At the bottom of the bottle there is a convex inscription – the name of the brand.
  2. When the bottle is cooled to 10 ° C and below, the white mark on the label with the inscription: “Quality above GOST” turns red.
  3. There is also a convex name of vodka on the cork.

Types of vodka “Belenkaya”

The assortment line of “Belenkaya” consists of four main types of vodka – “Classic”, “Gold”, “Kedrovaya” and “Lux”. But sometimes, for holidays or significant dates, the company releases a limited batch of vodka with a new design. For example, there is New Year’s Belenkaya Lux – in a white bottle with multi-colored drawings, by February 23 there is the same drink, but in a military bottle, and there is – in a flask bottle and even in a glass.

All types of “little white” are served chilled to 6-8 ° C. The drink goes well with Russian cuisine, with cold and hot appetizers, grilled meat, caviar, red fish and pancakes.

  • “White Classic” (40%). Absolutely transparent vodka with a delicate aroma, in which grain notes are barely audible, and a pleasant sweetish taste. The aftertaste is warming, of medium duration.
  • Belenkaya Zolotaya (40%). Crystal-clear vodka with a slightly noticeable alcohol aroma and mild taste. Thanks to the honey in the recipe, the short aftertaste has a light honey tint.
  • Belenkaya Lux (40%). In addition to luxury alcohol and softened artesian water, vodka contains an unusual ingredient – an infusion of oatmeal. Thanks to him, the taste of the drink is rounded, full, without the burning effect usual for most vodkas.
  • Belenkaya Kedrovaya (40%). Pine nut infusion is added to the composition, so coniferous notes are heard in the delicate aroma, and the taste is a little tart. Spicy aftertaste of medium duration.
