Belebeevskaya

“Belebeevskaya” vodka is recognized by the independent agency “Roskachestvo” as the best in Russia. Laboratory studies have shown that a strong drink not only meets all the requirements of the state standard, but also surpasses them in a number of indicators. Vodka is produced by the Belebeevsky branch of the Bashspirt joint-stock company, which in 2000 united seven large alcohol producers in Bashkiria.

Historical information

Vodka has been made in the area of the city of Belebeev since 1730. At a small distillery in the village of Znamenka, the landowner Osokin processed surplus rye and barley, which were difficult to sell in those days. During the alcohol reforms of the Minister of Finance S. Yu. Witte, a state-owned wine warehouse appeared already in the city itself. In 1904, a new plant was built in the northern part of Belebeev, designed to produce 1,8 million liters of strong alcohol per year. Finished products were sold in county wine shops.

The ban on alcohol during the First World War and the events of the October Revolution led to a temporary halt in production. The plant started working again only in 1925, and later came under the control of the Bashkir “Spirtprom”. In the 1960s, the enterprise was renamed into “Belebeevsky Distillery”. In Soviet times, the plant produced popular varieties of vodka and sweet liqueurs in the country. During the anti-alcohol campaign, the production lines had to be re-profiled for the production of mineral waters and lemonades, but in the late 1980s the plant returned to the production of alcohol.

Vodka “Belebeevskaya” appeared in 1994 and became the first own development of the company’s technologists. From that moment on, the plant had no problems with a lack of orders, and the employees had to work in two shifts. In 1997, Belebeevskaya received the title of the best vodka in Russia at VDNKh and continues to hold this title to this day. In 2018, Roskachestvo experts evaluated the composition and organoleptic characteristics of the drink and put the brand at the top of the rating in its class.

Production features

Vodka is based on rye alcohol of the highest category “Alpha” and “Lux” from the company’s own factories. Water is extracted from wells several hundred meters deep, and due to its rich mineral composition, it is recommended for medicinal purposes.

Products undergo multi-stage purification, first vodka is passed through conventional filters, and then treated with filter elements with gold and silver threads. Belebeevskaya is bottled on a separate line, every hour 7 bottles roll off the assembly line.
