On December 27, COVID-19 vaccination began in Poland. The first five people were vaccinated at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw. The first preparation was taken by the head nurse, Alicja Jakubowska. – It didn’t hurt! – she assured immediately after Dr. Artur Zaczyński, director of the Temporary Hospital at the PGE Narodowy Stadium, removed the needle from her arm.
After immunization, the nurse said that she was feeling well. – There are people who are undecided in my environment, I think that with my attitude I convey that it is worth getting vaccinated in order to return to normalcy – she said, adding that if someone does not want to vaccinate himself for himself, let him vaccinate himself for those loved ones ».

Immediately after Alicja Jakubowska, the vaccine was received by the director of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Prof. Waldemar Wierzba. “I didn’t feel anything at all, I guess I was impressed,” admitted the director. Before the whole procedure began, however, the professor looked at the gathered journalists. What he said could put many of them to shame. However, the words of Waldemar Wierzba should be taken to heart by each of us.

After the vaccination was completed, the director emphasized that they are “one of the greatest blessings of mankind”. He emphasized that the coronavirus vaccine is very well tested, among others by one of the most important American institutions in the world specializing in this field.
The mask must cover the nose and mouth. “This is beyond discussion”
Returning to the remark of prof. Willow addressed to journalists, let us remind you once again that the mask is one of the most important tools to fight the coronavirus. Unfortunately, we often forget that for this to happen, there is a condition: the mask must cover the nose and mouth.
– This is out of discussion. Meanwhile, Poles know that you need a mask, but how and why – it is not always well understood. Simply put: when we wear a mask anyhow, it’s as if we don’t have one at all. Such a mask will not fulfill its role – emphasized in a recent interview with Medonet, pulmonologist Dr. Tadeusz Zielonka.
– I must be aware of the fact that I wear a mask so that someone for my lack of cover would not pay for my life (…) Here you have to think in terms of community. Yes, I do something for others – said the specialist (the entire interview with Dr. Tadeusz Zielonka).
