Beer Trehsosenskoe: history + review of species

Trekhsosenskoye – beer created in the city of Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region. The drink dates back to the XNUMXth century, it was supplied to the Imperial Court, and today it is represented by a wide range of varieties. Brewing traditions have not changed to this day.

History of Trekhsosenskoye beer

1888 The brewery was founded by the Markov family of merchants. The uniqueness of the enterprise was that it was among the first in the Russian Empire to use the brewing technology borrowed in Europe. Malt was bought mainly in Poland. In addition, barrels for storage were made in our own workshop. Some barrels were even sold abroad.

1910 The enterprise was awarded the status of “Supplier of the Court of His Imperial Majesty”. All because Vienna, Czech, Pilsen and Black were in such demand that Nicholas II found out about them.

1960 The plant was re-equipped with installations from Belgium, Germany and the Czech Republic.

1995 The name was changed to OJSC Plant Trekhsosensky.

2011 The Vityaz brewery became part of the enterprise. He was brewing beer even before Trekhsosensky.

“Vityaz” was created in 1861 by Alexander Dmitrievich Sachkov, an honorary citizen of Simbirsk (now Ulyanovsk). The number of employees did not exceed fifteen people, and the sales volume was 11 buckets of alcohol annually.

2020 The head enterprise is now a renovated and reconstructed plant in Ulyanovsk. The drink is produced in the same way as in the century before last, absorbing the talent of masters and natural gift.

Types of beer Trekhsosenskoye

  1. Light, 4,5%

    It retains the standard hop-finish beer character and clarity from low-temperature maturation.

  2. Velvet, 4,6%

    A dark type of beer based on light malts, as well as burnt and caramel. Therefore, it is delicate and sweetish with exquisite bitterness. The aroma is dominated by malt.

  3. Wheat, 4,8%

    It is brewed with wheat malt, which is felt on the palate. The aroma is woven from notes of cloves and banana.

  4. The Art of Cooking. Czech Bar, 4,9%

    Included in the line of varieties made according to the exact recipe of the selected country. The owner himself monitors compliance with the technology. Czech is a straw-coloured lager. The hop varieties in the composition are combined in such a way as to achieve a pleasant sharpness and slightly bitter richness in character.

  5. German Unfiltered, 5%

    Golden beer with a hint of caramel. The taste absorbed bread and hops. The aroma is pronounced malt.

  6. Oak and Hoop. Cask, 4,9%

    A long time is aged in oak barrels. The tree gives the drink unique organoleptic properties. The quality and method of production have not changed since the company was founded. Caramelized malt has been added to the beer.

  7. Aged, 6,3%

    It uses an increased amount of caramel and pale malt and takes longer to ferment. As a result, it fully justifies the name, excluding the addition of alcohol.

  8. Cooking Wort, 4,9%

    Bright malty taste, balanced by light hop bitterness. It has an unobtrusive aftertaste of bread and hop notes.

  9. Copper and Wort, 4,9%

    Bread and malt with a unique deep beer aroma. It is brewed according to a special technology in copper boilers.

  10. Cherry in Oak, 5%

    Cherry ale made according to Belgian recipes. It has a rich ruby ​​color due to the addition of natural cherry juice. The bouquet reveals shades of cherry pits and delicate sourness.

  11. Soft Malt, 4,2%

    Soft harmonious with bready character. Drinks easily.

  12. Strong Hops, 8%

    Light strong with a dense taste, which is obtained by adding special malt and longer natural fermentation.

  13. Barrel for Friends, 4,5%

    Light with a characteristic hop bitterness.

  14. Riga Premium, 4,9%

    Prepared according to a traditional recipe verified over the years. It has authentic hop tones in character.

  15. Born in the USSR. Riga Traditional, 4,9%

    Rounded. Hop, honey and pepper notes in the aroma.

  16. Velvet Traditional, 4,6%

    Caramel, but not sweet taste, turning into burnt. Raisins and caramel are heard in the aroma.

  17. Zhigulevskoe Traditional, 4,5%

    Refreshing. Balanced, malty and hoppy. Used almost ice cold.

  18. Barley Field, 4,5%

    Light with unobtrusive bitterness. Smells like corn.

  19. Vityaz, 4,5%

    It is brewed on the basis of Volga water from artesian springs. Soft bready with dominant hops in the aroma.

  20. Draft, 4,5%

    Traditional light with hop nuances. The line includes the vast majority of the main range, as well as Irish Ale.

  21. Irish Ale, 4,9%

    Dark scarlet. Saturated with a high degree of density. Brewed with caramel malt.

Trekhsosenskoye beer awards

  1. In 2017, Trehsosenskoe Svetloe won gold at the Monde Selection competition in Belgium, and Czech Bar silver.

  2. In 2016, Bochkovoe took the gold award from the German DLG AWARDS competition.

  3. Aged won gold at The Beer Awards 2017 in London.
