Do you remember how my mother made beer curlers during the Soviet era? The drink was diluted with water, applied to dry hair and rolled with curlers until completely dry. And it was thanks to the yeast drink that the hair was kept perfect all day. Times have passed, there are many special products in stores, but many use grandmother’s recipes. The Woman’s Day editorial team has collected the best recipes for hair, face and skin with the addition of an intoxicated drink.
Beer masks are very useful for hair thanks to the active vitamins of group B, PP, elements – iron, copper, magnesium, phosphorus, a number of organic compounds, which, when combined, provide an unmatched result.
For dandruff: Mix beer and warm water 1 to 1 and rinse your hair with the resulting liquid every day after washing.
For growth: Grate the onion on the finest grater and mix the resulting juice with 400-500 ml of beer. After shampooing, apply to hair and leave on for about 15-20 minutes. After the procedure, rinse your hair several times with warm water and apply hair balm to get rid of the unpleasant odor.
For smoothness: Take 100 ml of beer, half a ripe banana, yolk and 100 ml of freshly squeezed orange and apple juice. Mix all ingredients and apply to hair, thoroughly treating scalp. 20-30 minutes under a towel – and your hair will be smooth and silky.
For moisturizing: half a glass of beer should be mixed with the same amount of kefir and applied to the hair for 20 minutes, then rinsed with warm water.
Split ends: Add a spoonful of olive oil to a heated glass of beer and rub into the scalp. Distribute the rest of the mass over all hair and leave for half an hour.
For oily skin: mix 50 ml of beer, juice of one lemon and a teaspoon of honey. Warm up the mixture to dissolve the honey and apply on the face for 10 minutes. After the procedure, wash with warm water.
For dry skin: two tablespoons of light beer, a spoonful of vegetable oil and two teaspoons of honey are mixed and heated until the honey dissolves. After preparing the mixture, it must be cooled and applied to the face with a cotton pad. When the mask is absorbed, rinse your face with cool water.
For combination skin: The peeled cucumber should be finely grated and mixed with one protein and 200 ml of beer. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply on face for 10-15 minutes.
For dry skin: dilute two tablespoons of beer with a teaspoon of olive oil and honey, then apply on face for 10 minutes. After the procedure, rinse your face with warm water.
Arms: Mash 150 grams of potatoes and add 100 ml of hot beer. While the mass has not had time to cool, quickly apply it to your hands in a thick layer and wrap it with cling film. After 15 minutes, remove the mask and feel the nourishment and softening of the skin.
Body: since ancient times, warriors took beer baths to recover from battle. Take a warm bath and add a glass of beer. Relaxation is guaranteed. Also, if you like to go to the bathhouse, you can pour beer on the hot stones, which will lead to cleansing and silky skin.
Tan: for the most daring, it is rumored that a tan is very good on beer. The point is not to drink it and fall asleep in the sun, but to smear it on before sunbathing. Many people use this method and are happy with the “bonding” of the bronze tan to the skin. You can also add a little olive oil to the beer, and the effect will also be obtained with hydration.
