History of beer Doctor Diesel

The trademark appeared in 1998 under the leadership of the Russian company Ivan Taranov’s Breweries. Beer was brewed at several factories in Russia and even in the Republic of Belarus. Glass / tin containers of 0,5 liters and plastic 1,5 liters were produced.

After 7 years, the brand was bought out by the Dutch brewing holding Heineken. Its founder is Gerard Heineken, who started with a small Amsterdam brewery.

He founded it in 1873, hired two assistants, began to improve the classic recipe, and a year later presented his brainchild: a beer that was never lighter in the Netherlands. Heineken became very popular. Today, its production includes 115 breweries in 65 countries.

Over time, the brand became outdated, it became less trusted and lighter alcohol was preferred. Sales have dropped. Therefore, in 2007, the brand was rebranded, during which the design and name were changed. It began to be written in Latin to add “Westernism”. Light beer has been added to the line.

In 2008, the marketing strategy was improved, and the sales volume increased 20 times compared to the previous year.

Dr. Diesel has excellent taste due to natural ingredients and special A-Yeast yeast. They influence the complex taste and aroma with unobtrusive fruity notes. During the production process, the drink is fermented in a horizontal position, thanks to which the yeast grows well. Beer is brewed longer than any other types: 28 days. Therefore, it has a yellow color with golden tints.
