Troost brewery
Brouwerij Troost currently has four locations in Amsterdam and is one of the top destinations for beer lovers.

Another Amsterdam specialty beer can be found at Overtoom in the Oud West, on the outskirts of the Vondelpark.
Inside, the simple, modern décor doesn’t detract from the beer itself, and the first thing you’ll notice is 40 sparkling beer taps lining the wall behind a wooden grate.
The international beer selection changes weekly, so there’s always something new to try. The knowledgeable bar staff are always happy to offer you some recommendations if the choice is too difficult.

Brouwerij ‘t IJ
Arguably Amsterdam’s most famous craft brewery, thanks to its iconic location under the city’s tallest windmill, Brouwerij ‘t IJ is an essential stop on any beer tour of the Dutch capital.
During the summer, Brouwerij ‘t IJ features a large outdoor terrace while the interior exudes a rustic feel, with private tasting sessions and tours for those looking to develop their beer knowledge.

Delirium Café
Following in the footsteps of the famous Brussels cafe Delirium, this beer outpost with the pink elephant logo offers a variety of beers from the Belgian Huyghe brewery + more than 500 beers from around the world await you!
A large bar and restaurant is hidden under an overpass on the waterfront, with a long terrace offering great views. There is also a large restaurant serving delicious food.

From Prael
One of the best breweries in Amsterdam, which is located in the center of the oldest districts of the city. By selecting and grinding their own grains and malts, without any filtration or pasteurization, De Prael creates a classic unflavoured beer.

Beer Temple
A beer mecca in the city centre, specializing in beer ‘teams’ since 2009, attracting beer drinkers from all over the world.

In the Wildeman
Housed in a former distillery built in 1690, this authentic establishment has retained its old world charm and is now one of the best beer bars in Amsterdam with over 200 bottles of beer and around 18 beer taps.
The selection changes regularly, with a focus on Belgian Trappist ales and local Dutch brewers.

Butcher’s Tears
The small, trendy brewery has taken its place on Amsterdam’s beer trail after opening a shop in an industrial canal next to the Amsterdam Zuid, close to the Olympic Stadium.
Every evening except Monday and Tuesday, the doors open from 16:00 pm to 21:00 pm, allowing beer connoisseurs to sample a tasting range of beers with a variety of names, including Lipreader, Ditchwitch, and The Flying Bed. The brewery also hosts regular concerts and events.

Jopenkerk
In just 20 minutes by train you will be in Haarlem, the capital of North Holland, where the Jopen brewery is located.
Located in the city center in a former church, Jopen is a modern brewery, cafe and restaurant that brings the city’s brewing traditions to life.
Open for lunch and dinner, this is the place to relax and enjoy a delicious drink while watching the brewing process from a bird’s eye view. They have two other locations, the Jopenkerk distillery in Hoofddorp and the Proeflokaal Jopen (Jopen tasting room) in Waarderpolder.

A small craft brewery in the center of Amsterdam with boundless enthusiasm and passion for brewing beer.
Owners prefer to brew a balanced beer that highlights the flavor profile of one of the ingredients.

Poesiat & Kater
Poesiat & Kater is a brewery in East Amsterdam.
The trick is a special beer that is brewed right in front of you and then sent straight to the bar’s taps. This way you always drink fresh beer.
The brewery is housed in a beautiful late 19th century building with high ceilings and large windows. In winter you can sit in front of the fireplace and in summer there is a large terrace with all day sun. There is a kitchen with themed food.
What to try first: Extra Stout Original (Stout) and traditional Van Vollenhoven beer.

The 7 Virtues
The brewery is located in the west of Amsterdam. Chip in the approach of brewing beer.
Six of their beers are brewed all year round with additional seasonal beers that are changed seven times a year. These beers are interesting and have a unique combination of flavors.
Beer from this company can be purchased directly from the brewery or from stores throughout the Netherlands.
Visitors can book a tour of the brewery to taste beer and local cheese. Prices are around 20 euros per person. And as a special treat, you and your friends can make your own beer with the help of an experienced brewer.
