Troost brewery

Brouwerij Troost currently has four locations in Amsterdam and is one of the top destinations for beer lovers.

Another Amsterdam specialty beer can be found at Overtoom in the Oud West, on the outskirts of the Vondelpark.

Inside, the simple, modern décor doesn’t detract from the beer itself, and the first thing you’ll notice is 40 sparkling beer taps lining the wall behind a wooden grate.

From Prael

One of the best breweries in Amsterdam, which is located in the center of the oldest districts of the city. By selecting and grinding their own grains and malts, without any filtration or pasteurization, De Prael creates a classic unflavoured beer.

Housed in a former distillery built in 1690, this authentic establishment has retained its old world charm and is now one of the best beer bars in Amsterdam with over 200 bottles of beer and around 18 beer taps.

Butcher’s Tears

The small, trendy brewery has taken its place on Amsterdam’s beer trail after opening a shop in an industrial canal next to the Amsterdam Zuid, close to the Olympic Stadium.

Every evening except Monday and Tuesday, the doors open from 16:00 pm to 21:00 pm, allowing beer connoisseurs to sample a tasting range of beers with a variety of names, including Lipreader, Ditchwitch, and The Flying Bed. The brewery also hosts regular concerts and events.

Jopenkerk

In just 20 minutes by train you will be in Haarlem, the capital of North Holland, where the Jopen brewery is located.

Located in the city center in a former church, Jopen is a modern brewery, cafe and restaurant that brings the city’s brewing traditions to life.

Poesiat & Kater

Poesiat & Kater is a brewery in East Amsterdam.

The trick is a special beer that is brewed right in front of you and then sent straight to the bar’s taps. This way you always drink fresh beer.

The brewery is housed in a beautiful late 19th century building with high ceilings and large windows. In winter you can sit in front of the fireplace and in summer there is a large terrace with all day sun. There is a kitchen with themed food.

The brewery is located in the west of Amsterdam. Chip in the approach of brewing beer.
