Bedroom color affects sleep

It turns out that the color of the bedroom affects how well we sleep. Muted shades of blue, yellow and green are the best for healthy sleep.

In addition to the well-known terms – an active day, dinner without alcohol and coffee, a relaxing rest before going to bed – you can also add a good bedroom color to the formula for good sleep. It turns out that the colors that fall into our field of vision affect our mood and well-being even when we sleep. The cells in the retina of the eye are highly sensitive and react to color even through closed eyelids and in low light. Muted colors are suitable for the bedroom. Best of all – shades of blue, yellow and green. Gray and brown, on the contrary, act depressingly and cause tension. Lilac color should also be excluded: it stimulates brain activity and reduces the phase of deep sleep *.
