Beauty of Russia – 2014, Tatiana Baitova, interview
On November 17, 2015, the XXI National Festival of Talents and Beauty “Beauty of Russia” will be held! The theme of this year’s production is “Choosing a Star”. The auditorium will turn into a cinema pavilion, and the girls will become contenders for the main roles in popular films. While 60 contestants are preparing for the show, the editorial staff of Woman’s Day learned how the life of last year’s winner of the “Beauty of Russia – 2014” has changed.
A year has passed since the Kurgan student Tanya Baitova won the Beauty of Russia competition. To participate in the show, the girl sacrificed the most important day in her life!
“To take part in the festival, I even had to postpone the date of my wedding,” the beauty of Russia said honestly. – But it was worth it! I think we will be fine anyway. It seems to me that now my young man is very pleased and proud of me. “
And this year turned her life upside down. Now she lives in Moscow, works in the directorate of the competition and travels a lot.
Tanya, what was the main event this year?
– I graduated from Kurgan State University, received a red diploma with a degree in engineering manager in the field of innovation management. I will not hide that it was very difficult to finish my studies, I had to constantly fly to Moscow, but still I did it! Of course, I think about working in my specialty, but so far I really like what I am doing now.
In general, this year was very happy. I saw so many things, learned, one might say, opened the world. You know, I practically didn’t leave Kurgan before “Krasa Rossii”. And then she was in Moscow for the first time. And I am very grateful to the head of Krasa Tatyana Andreeva for support and understanding. We traveled a lot this year: we were in Italy, Egypt, Israel – and worked and had a rest.
Have you already worked abroad?
– Yes, there was an advertising project for one of the hotels thanks to the management. Everything I do, I do only through Krasa Rossii. No left-handed contracts. I understand perfectly well that I am not yet experienced enough to produce myself, it is easy to deceive me.
– I’m in the process (smiles). I have nowhere to move, I have neither my own nor rented housing in Moscow, but I have a job that I adore! I can say that I was practically accepted into the directorate of the Beauty of Russia competition. And, by the way, we now have a very busy schedule, we just have no time to drink tea, the competition is already on November 17, every minute is scheduled.
– I am among the organizers and on the jury. I spend a lot of time with the girls-contestants, I attend all their meetings, and now we are finishing the photo sessions for the booklet. I will pass on the crown at the competition, it is responsible!
– More and more every day! A year ago, I was just scared here. And now I am imbued with this rhythm, this city with its energy. But my main happiness is that I have found wonderful people, girlfriends, friends, they sound pompous, but they have become almost dear to me. I would never have thought that at my age you can find new friends. I have close friends from childhood, from my student years, and now here are the girls from “Beauty of Russia” who treated me so warmly. I now live at home with Sveta Goreva, the beauty of Russia – 2003.
Are there girls from Kurgan among the current contestants?
– Yes, this is Dasha Ketova, she is fighting for the title “Young Beauty of Russia – 2015”, she is only 16 years old. She has a very high chance. In general, Kurgan is famous for its female beauty! Despite the fact that kurgan.ru, thanks to which I took part in the competition, did not conduct a selection this year, we nevertheless brought Dasha.
It was our joint decision with the management (they said, you can’t live without Kurgan!), And Natalia Atroshenko, the head of the model school in Kurgan, and I decided to bring Dasha. One of the jury members is Igor Butman, and so, he was recently in Kurgan and when he sees Dasha or me, he shouts: “Oh-oh-oh, Kurgan, the city of the most beautiful girls!” This is insanely nice.
– The final list has not yet been approved, there are a lot of star candidates. This is Kobzon, and Bekmambetov, and Kostya Tszyu. Everything will be decided in the coming days.
Tanya, and yet how do you see yourself in the future life?
– I definitely want to live in Moscow. And I want to find a job in my specialty, I can work in the PR industry, in communications, in external relations. I absolutely calmly and adequately relate to what is happening to me now, I do not suffer from star fever.
I understand that I will not become a model, I am many years old (23 years old). But I also don’t want to end relations with Krasa Rossii after the transfer of the crown, and I will not! In any case, I will stay in touch and work if I can.
Contrary to popular belief, here at Krasa Rossii there is a very benevolent atmosphere, there is no competition, everything is a mountain for each other. The girls just work honestly.
