At banquets, buffets and friendly parties, it is better to serve a variety of fruits chopped, so it will be more convenient to eat them. It is not necessary to master the art of carving, it is enough to carefully cut the fruits and arrange them as picturesquely as possible.

For a beautiful design of a fruit plate, choose fruits of different colors, they will look especially decorative. Give preference to fruits with dense pulp, they are convenient to cut in both small and large pieces. Exotic fruits with flesh of an unusual color – carambola, rambutan, passion fruit will very decorate the fruit plate.

To decorate a fruit plate, you will need:

– fresh fruits and berries of different colors; – a sharp knife for cutting vegetables; – a vegetable peeler; – wooden skewers and toothpicks; – lemon juice; – dishes of a suitable size; – fresh mint leaves; – powdered sugar.

Try a plate that can be served on a dessert or snack table. A spectacular appearance is achieved by a beautiful combination of colors. Peel pears, apples, peaches, kiwis, pineapples, and then cut the fruits into large cubes of the same size. Wash medium-sized strawberries, cherries or large grapes thoroughly.

To prevent pears and apples from darkening, sprinkle with lemon juice after cutting.

On a flat plate, lay out the fruits in slides, alternating them in color and placing green kiwi cubes next to a clear pear, and bright strawberries next to a rich yellow pineapple. Another popular option is the orange lily. Use a sharp vegetable knife to make a zig-zag cut in the middle of the fruit, and then divide the orange in half. Remember to remove the bones. You can cut grapefruits and tangerines in the same way.

For artistic cutting, you can use special tools. With their help, it is easy to cut original spirals, as well as a variety of figures.

Kiwi can be turned into beautiful flowers. Peel the fruit gently, for this it is convenient to use a vegetable peeler. Then make several even longitudinal furrow cuts at regular intervals. Slice the kiwi across, each slice will look like a flower with rounded petals. Such flowers can be supplemented with carambola stars. Making them is easy, just slice the fruit thinly across the ribs. Beautiful transparent yellow stars are ready.

Strawberries will make spectacular fans. Rinse and dry large berries, do not break off the sepals. Using a sharp knife, cut the berries several times from the sharp end, without bringing the knife to the end. Then fan out the berry.
