Do you like to take care of yourself?
I practically live in salons. Haircut, styling, manicure – for me, the best and most enjoyable way to kill time.
Do you have a beauty fetish?
Red lipstick. And I prefer it to contrast with the clothes. After all, red lips and a red dress are boring. Although it complies with the makeup rules. And I like to break stereotypes. So, once the famous Fred Farruggia, when he was the art director of Lancôme, gave me purple makeup. It was unexpected. Defiantly. And amazing. Since then I like to experiment with color.
What don’t you admit in cosmetics or make-up?
Until I got to green nail polish. What else? I didn’t do Botox. I’m sure a tense face and wrinkles are the result of stress. And if you learn to control it, then youth can be prolonged without botox.
Believe it or not, I myself. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a hairdresser. And to this day I come up with and execute most of the hairstyles myself. Today I came to work with a high “shell”: I picked up my hair and secured it with only one hairpin. It turned out like the models at the Louis Vuitton show – neat, but a little careless. Arina Sharapova, passing by, complimented me.
What makes a woman beautiful?
Self-confidence. As a rule, it comes over the years and begins to be read in the eyes and gestures. This is what makes you irresistible, or rather, noticeable. Neither makeup nor a bright outfit can do this.
What is your ideal of beauty?
Ideal? I don’t like this word. Nothing is perfect in life. After all, every person has its pros and cons. I think Angelina Jolie is a really bright woman. We talked more than once: during interviews, and just like that, at friendly get-togethers. She is really beautiful. Even with a minimum of makeup on your face. Very natural. Perhaps she is the closest to the ideal.
