Premium class vodka “The Beast” is unique even for the upper price segment. No glass or paper labels. The drink is poured into spectacular aluminum bottles with the image of a wolf. The content is just as harsh: the vodka is as pure as can be achieved with modern technology. The advantages of Zver vodka have already been appreciated not only in Russia, but also in 20 countries to which the Ladoga company exports the drink.
Historical reference. The Ladoga company, founded in 1995, is known for trying to satisfy the needs of alcohol buyers in any segment. The company produces vodkas, wines, cognacs, various tinctures, acquires existing brands.
Until 2013, the company produced several brands of premium vodka, but all of these drinks had one drawback: a glass bottle, both heavy and fragile. It is inconvenient to take such vodka with you on a picnic or fishing.
An idea arose: to create a very high-quality vodka and pour it into thin-walled aluminum bottles. Since 2013, Zver vodka has been produced at the company’s St. Petersburg plant. At the heart of the drink is alcohol “Lux”, which has undergone 3-fold rectification. Then the vodka is subjected to a 9-stage purification: using carbon, quartz and membrane filters. At the last stage, the drink is passed through a Zeta Сarbon composite nano-filter.
The result is a 40% ABV vodka with a very mild taste. The drink is insidious: it is so easy to drink that you can imperceptibly get drunk. But with its moderate use, there will be no symptoms of alcohol intoxication the morning after the feast.
In the world at that time, only one brand of vodka (Danzka) was poured into aluminum bottles. This metal is light and durable, and if you put a vessel made of it in cold water on a hot day, the drink will cool down in 15 minutes.
The design of the Zver vodka bottle was developed by the British agency Claessens International LTD. A tall silver cylindrical bottle with a wolf muzzle and claw marks is so beautiful that it received a well-deserved award at the Prodexpo 2015 international exhibition in the Packaging Innovation nomination.
