Beans – a healing product

Low fat protein

Bean protein, rich in a number of essential amino acids, is able to saturate the body as well as meat. Several elements of the protein chain – tyrosine, methionine and tryptophan – are natural antidepressants and have antioxidant properties. Arginine, contained in beans, participates in nitrogen metabolism, helps to reduce blood sugar. Lysine, methionine and tyrosine facilitate bowel function and promote better protein absorption.

Fount of vitamins

Regular consumption of beans allows you to provide the body with vitamins, plant fibers and a number of trace elements and other useful substances:

  • B vitamins (especially B6), which ensure the normal functioning of the nervous system and are responsible for energy metabolism, maintain a normal digestive system, increase resistance to stress, help stabilize blood sugar levels, and complement well the treatment of anemia, neurological and psychiatric history. The activity of the immune system and the efficiency of the processes of growth and reproduction of cells also largely depend on the presence of B vitamins;
  • antioxidants – primarily vitamins C and E – which are more in beans than in many other vegetables, berries and fruits. Antioxidants not only prevent the violation of the integrity of cells, but also accelerate the restoration of the destroyed, increase the body’s resistance to infections, protect against aging, the adverse effects of environmental factors, oncological, cardiovascular diseases;
  • iron, necessary for the functioning of the hematopoietic systems of the body and the production of red blood cells, as well as strengthening the immune system, catalyzes the processes of oxygen exchange, providing tissue respiration;
  • the metals involved in the creation of bone tissue are magnesium and calcium. Magnesium is needed to convert food into energy, build strong bones, teeth, muscles and regulate body temperature, insulin secretion and action. Calcium is the main building block of which our bones, teeth and nails are made;
  • molybdenum, which helps the body to detoxify;
  • zinc, the degree of assimilation of which in beans is close to the absolute value, is necessary for the production of testosterone;
  • flavonoids with anti-cancer properties.

Canned Beans Advantage

Properly cooked beans will only bring benefits, but it is not always possible to fully comply with the process of cooking beans: soaking and prolonged heat treatment. Therefore, nutritionists prioritize canned beans.

Personally, I recommend Canned Beans “6 Sotok”, in the production of which selected beans are used, of three types: White Alubia, Red Kidney, White Ethiopian, which is the basis for Beans in tomato sauce. Raw materials for beans “6 acres” are sterilized in autoclaves at a temperature of 120 degrees, which contributes to the complete decomposition of phytohemaglutinin – a poison contained in unprocessed (green and dried) beans.

Considering that cooking beans at home takes a lot of time, the use of canned beans “6 Sotok”, both independently and in the form of ingredients for preparing various hot and cold dishes, salads, snacks and pates, significantly saves time, remaining all just as healthy and tasty.

Which beans should you choose?

There is no consensus on the nutritional value of various varieties of beans, however, as a result of numerous studies, it has been found that, for example, motley beans have the highest mineral content, and green beans have the highest content of vitamins.

The processing method also affects the nutritional value of the prepared product. If we compare home-cooked and natural canned beans “6 acres”, while maintaining the calorie content and protein value, canned beans contain 20% less carbohydrates and 40% less fat, which are already in the beans in a scanty amount.
