Professional Gastronomic Event

The city of Barcelona once again becomes the gastronomic and hospitality benchmark with the celebration of two gastronomic and food events of great experience and international focus.

The alliance of the last edition was a success and once again uniting visitors and especially gastronomy, the two events return to Barcelona in a single space of gastronomy, food, drinks and equipment.

The Gastronomic Forum and Hostelco unite their dates and concepts to create value and synergies for the whole world of food, cuisine and gastronomy, becoming one of the main trade fair and event destinations for buyers and producers from European countries such as France, Germany, England, etc.

The exhibition will be at the Gran Vía de Fira de Barcelona venue, from October 23 to 26, with a cross-cutting offer from the food industry, culinary production and foodservice.

This year’s Hostelco

Visitors to the Fair of this 2016 edition will have a global vision of the areas of equipment, restaurants, hotels and gastronomy, with the aim of contributing new ideas that serve as inspiration to the businesses run by these professionals of the hostelry.

As in previous editions of the Hostelco Fair, there will be tastings and the now traditional National Barista Championship that will take place in the Café Area in the program of scheduled events.

We will see again who wins the “Hostelco Awards”, which has the important novelty of the inclusion within the awarded categories of the best startup with the “Hostelco Opportunity” award.

For this new edition, the exhibition hall expands its offer with the incorporation of the ice cream, bakery and pastry sectors to complement its offer of services to the visitor, welcoming them as if the event were held in the center of the city, with the recreation of an authentic urban square where the main workshops and demonstrations will take place.

Another area that lives with us on a daily basis is that of exercise and fitness, and the event itself focuses directly on this sector with great growth potential, which especially in tourist establishments, is acquiring special relevance at the time of the reservation decision. .

Leaving the fairgrounds, the Fair also teaches us a different way of consuming in the city, through the activities designed for the occasion, the Hunting Tours, with routes and experiences designed by “trend hunters” with stops at various catering establishments in the city.

The Gastronomic Forum of 2016

Restaurateurs, chefs and all kinds of people related to the professional world of gastronomy, have their appointment at the gastronomic forum of Barcelona.
