However, the main active ingredient of the drug is metamizole sodium, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that effectively reduces fever and relieves pain.
Baralgetas can be purchased at a pharmacy without a doctor’s prescription, but self-administration of this drug to eliminate severe abdominal pain is unacceptable until the causes of the ailment are clarified. According to the instructions for use of Baralgetas, contraindications to it are also children under 5 years of age, severe forms of renal failure, pregnancy and lactation. However, this analgesic and antispasmodic has proven to be an effective analgesic and antipyretic in the treatment of colds in adults and school-age children.

Permissible dosage for children 6-8 years old – no more than half a tablet 4 times a day. Patients of the age category 9-12 years old are given three quarters of a tablet 3-4 times a day. Adolescents aged 13-15 years can take a whole tablet of the drug, but also not more than 4 times a day and at intervals of at least 4 hours.
