Banana liqueurs are dessert alcoholic drinks. Their rich sweet taste with notes of ripe banana and a slight milky tint is very popular with women. However, finding this alcohol on the shelves of Russian stores is a great success, and the cost is unpleasantly surprising. There is only one way out – to make banana liqueur at home. The whole process will take no more than 30 minutes.
I recommend using large ripe bananas, which even through the peel emit a characteristic aroma. Overripe soft fruits with darkened pulp are not suitable; bitterness may appear in the finished drink due to poor raw materials.
Another important point is the alcohol base. It should be store-bought vodka, purified distillate or alcohol diluted to 40-45%. You should not make banana liqueur with bad-smelling moonshine, as the aroma is distorted and the taste is difficult to predict.
Ingredients:
- ripe bananas – 3 pieces;
- vodka – 0,3 liters;
- fresh milk – 150 ml;
- condensed milk – 1 can (400 grams);
- chicken eggs – 2 pieces.

1. Peel the bananas, cut the flesh into small pieces 2-3 cm wide.
2. Separate the whites from the yolks in the eggs, then only the whites will be needed.
3. Mix fresh and condensed milk, egg whites, banana pieces with a mixer until smooth.
4. Pour vodka in a thin stream, continuing to stir.
5. Seal tightly, put the liquor in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.
6. Filter the resulting drink through cheesecloth, then bottle for storage.
Homemade banana liqueur can be drunk immediately without insisting. Sweets (chocolate, sweets, pastries) and fruits, especially oranges and apples, are suitable as snacks. Shelf life in the refrigerator is up to 30 days, but it is better to consume the drink in the first 7 days, then the taste may become worse. Fortress – 13-15%.

Cocktails with banana liqueur
Store-bought or homemade liquor will do.
1. Banana exotic
Composition:
- banana liqueur – 50 ml;
- lemon juice – 15 ml;
- gin (vodka) – 25 ml.
Recipe: Mix all ingredients in a shaker and pour into a glass. Decorate with a cherry on top.
2. Puppet
Composition:
- martini Bianco – 50 ml;
- white rum – 10 ml;
- banana liqueur – 10 ml;
- orange juice – 30 ml.
Recipe: mix all the ingredients in a shaker (except orange juice), pour into a glass, add juice, mix.
