Salmon, also called Atlantic salmon, is an aromatic fish with juicy soft meat. It can be fried, boiled, salted, but baked salmon is the most useful. There are many recipes that allow you to bake this delicious fish, giving it additional nuances of taste and aroma.
Salmon fillet baked with herbs
This is a recipe for low-temperature salmon. This heat treatment will take longer, but the fish will be juicy and aromatic. You will need: – 1 fillet of salmon with a total weight of about 500 g; – 4 tablespoons of a mixture of chopped herbs (thyme, rosemary, basil, parsley); – 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper; – 1/2 teaspoon of salt; – 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
Preheat oven to 90 ° C. Mix the chopped herbs with salt and pepper, you can add a little lemon zest or sesame seeds to them. Grease a frypot and line the fish, skin side down. Spread the herbal mixture over the entire surface of the fish. Bake the salmon for 40–45 minutes. Finished fish is light pink in color and easily breaks down into flakes.

Salmon in honey-citrus glaze
To give the surface of the fish a glossy caramel crust, bake it in the glaze. Take: – 1 salmon fillet, total weight 500 g; – 4 tablespoons of liquid dark honey; – 3 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice; – 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed orange juice; – salt and freshly ground black pepper; – olive oil.
Brush a baking dish with olive oil. Place the salmon skin side down. Combine honey, orange and lemon juices in a small bowl. Season the fillets with salt and pepper and brush the fish with the honey mixture using a silicone brush. Bake the salmon for 10-12 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 ° C.
The fish can be marinated before baking. For 4-6 servings of salmon, take: – 1 pound fillet; 1/3 cup lemon juice – 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper; – salt; 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup brown sugar – 1/3 cup warm water; – 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Drizzle the salmon fillets with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and olive oil until sugar dissolves. Place the salmon in a large, tight plastic bag with a zip fastener, pour in the soy marinade and shake the bag well to cover the entire fish. Refrigerate the salmon for 1–2 hours. Preheat oven to 220 ° C. Line a baking sheet with baking foil, line the fish and bake for 10-12 minutes.
Salmon can be sold not only in the form of fillets, but also chopped into steaks. To bake 4 of these steaks, you will need: – 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice; – 1 tablespoon of very finely chopped onion; – 1/4 teaspoon of salt; – a pinch of freshly ground pepper; – 1/4 cup fatty sour cream; – 1 teaspoon lemon zest; – 1/2 teaspoon dried dill; – 1 lemon, cut into wedges; – olive oil. Place the steaks in a greased baking dish. Combine chopped onion and lemon juice, and add a little of the mixture to each steak. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20 minutes. Combine sour cream, lemon zest and dried dill. Remove the salmon, pour over the mixture and continue baking. Cook the fish for another 3-4 minutes, serve the steaks, garnish with lemon wedges.
