From the specified amount of dough, you will get 10 medium-sized pies. You can fill them with any minced meat – meat, fish, mushroom, vegetable. The filling can be sweet – homemade or commercial jam, finely chopped fruits are perfect. Try baking delicious cottage cheese pies. This recipe can also be used to make a large pie.

You will need: – 2 cups of wheat flour; – 50 g of butter; – 1 tablespoon of sugar; – 0,5 cups of water; – 1 egg; – 10 drops of lemon juice; – 0,25 teaspoon of salt; – 0,25 a teaspoon of baking soda.

For the filling: – 1 glass of cottage cheese; – 1 egg; – 1,5 tablespoons of sugar; – 1 teaspoon of flour; – 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar; – salt to taste; – an egg for lubrication.

Do not increase the amount of sugar – it may leak out during baking

Sift flour and mix with baking soda. Dissolve sugar, salt and citric acid in half a glass of water. Mix the softened butter with sugar water and flour, add an egg. Knead a homogeneous non-steep dough, divide it into 10 lumps, roll each into a ball.

Prepare the filling. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, fry the flour in a dry frying pan until creamy. Add flour to the curd, put the egg, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar in the same place. Mix everything thoroughly.

Roll the balls into tortillas on a floured board, put a tablespoon of curd filling in the center of each. Tie the edges tightly by curling them with string. Place the patties on a greased baking sheet. Grease the products with a beaten egg and place in the oven, preheated to 200 ° C. Bake until golden brown. Heat the milk and pour it into a deep bowl. Add sugar, salt and dry yeast and let the mixture stand for 15 minutes. Then add the lightly beaten eggs, salt and butter. Stir and add the sifted flour in portions. Cover the container with the dough with a towel and place the bowl in a warm place.

Take care of the stuffing. Cook rice in salted water and chill it. Put the fish in a bowl, add rice and finely chopped onions, fried in vegetable oil. Add salt and pepper if necessary, mix everything thoroughly.

After an hour or an hour and a half, the dough should rise with a fluffy hat. Dip it with a spoon and leave for another hour. Then lower the dough again and place it on a floured board. Divide it into small lumps, roll them in flour and roll them into tortillas. Place the filling in the center of each and seal the edges tightly. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.

Place the patties in the pan, seam side down. After frying the products on one side, turn them over with a wooden spatula. Serve warm.
