Baked apples with honey and cottage cheese

Try apples baked with cottage cheese. This delicate and nutritious dish can be served with an afternoon snack or light dinner. Give preference to sweet and sour fruits, with them the taste of the dessert will be more expressive. Ranet, Antonovka or Granny Smith varieties are ideal.

You will need: – 4 large apples; – 2 tablespoons of lemon juice; – 0,5 cups of water; – 4 tablespoons of soft cottage cheese; – 3 tablespoons of liquid honey; – butter.

Wash the apples thoroughly with a brush, cut off the tops with tails, select the pulp with a sharp knife and spoon. Remove seeds and partitions and use a blender to puree the pulp. If you don’t have a blender, you can chop the apples very finely with a knife. Sprinkle the fruit with lemon juice.

Place the applesauce in a saucepan or saucepan, add water and honey, stir and cook until soft. Refrigerate mashed potatoes.
