Compliance with the regime for a modern person is increasingly becoming an impossible dream, and not a mandatory necessity. The current active lifestyle, many daily worries and lack of time even for oneself leaves no room for thinking about the importance of going to bed and getting up at the same time. After all, this is what all qualified doctors recommend to us.
Awakening time and its defining role
Many experts compromise with those who still cannot afford to implement this recommendation in full and advise trying to implement at least one half and choosing one of the options – waking up at the same time in the morning or falling asleep in the evening.
But even among those who use such a compromise recommendation, there are those who have an opposite opinion about the benefits of each of the options. For example, the famous biohacker Serge Faguet is completely sure that by giving priority to falling asleep at the same time, he will retain his youth longer. Of course, using other recommendations of doctors and scientists.
However, the leadership of the Russian Center for Sleep Medicine, Moscow State University. Lomonosov has a different opinion. Their long-term observations and statistics show that, after all, the rise time is more important. The center informs those who are interested: most often it happens that when you wake up quite late, for example, on weekends, you have to fall asleep much later – this knocks down the entire rhythm of sleep and wakefulness. Therefore, it will be easier and more efficient to try to get up at the same time, which will eventually adjust the time to fall asleep.
Effect of lack of sleep on human genes
Experts say that the lack of sleep for a person has very deplorable consequences. First of all, the brain of a healthy person lends itself to a huge negative influence. Even a slight deviation from the norm, which includes 7-9 hours of sleep per day, slows down its work.
Interesting experiments were conducted, for example, within two weeks, the participants reduced the duration of sleep by only one hour. Medical supervision gave stunning results. Even such a small, at first glance, effect on the subjects led to a change in the work of the body’s genes that are responsible for cardiovascular diseases, hormonal disorders, and others.
As a result, we come to the conclusion that the neglect of normal sleep subsequently leads to the development of such adverse processes that can provoke serious diseases in the future. The effect on the brain is not limited to a simple change in the speed of reaction and a general slowdown in thought processes. Over time, this negative impact can lead to Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease.
Side effects of experiments
In addition to the main findings, studies have proven the fact that a slightly cool shower or a warm bath will be beneficial for the rapid process of falling asleep. Both methods help to relax the body, so that a person sleeps better. The ideal ambient temperature for sleeping is in the range of twenty to twenty-two degrees Celsius. In order not to prevent the body from falling asleep, all physical activity should be limited to three hours, otherwise the overclocked metabolism will prevent you from enjoying a timely and long-term natural process.
