Backstage view in Excel

Backstage view in Excel opens up the possibilities for working with files and books: saving, opening, printing and sharing. In this lesson, we will look at all the tabs and commands that make up the Backstage view.

Change to Backstage view

  • Click the tab File on the tape.

To exit Backstage view and return to Microsoft Excel, click the arrow.

Each time you navigate to Backstage view, a panel is displayed Intelligence. Here you can see information about the current Excel workbook, check it for problems, or set protection.

Create

Here you can create a new Excel workbook or choose from a large number of templates.

This tab allows you to open recent books, as well as documents saved in the OneDrive cloud storage or on your computer.

Save and save as

Use sections Save or Save asto save the Excel workbook to your computer or OneDrive.

On the panel print You can change print settings, print the document, and preview before printing.

General access

In this section, you can invite people connected to OneDrive to collaborate on an Excel document. You can also share a book by emailing it as an attachment.

Here you can export the book to another format such as PDF/XPS or Excel 1997-2003.

On the Advanced tab Account You can get information about your Microsoft account, change the theme or background of the program, and sign out of your account.
