Back diseases: treatment of osteochondrosis and radiculitis. Video
The most common back diseases are sciatica and osteochondrosis. With radiculitis, bundles of nerve fibers extending from the spinal cord are affected. The most common cause of this disease is osteochondrosis, in which degenerative damage to the intervertebral cartilage occurs. Traditional medicine has accumulated a large number of recipes that help relieve back pain and get rid of diseases.
Back Symptoms and Traditional Treatments
There is a difference in osteochondrosis of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. With the defeat of the cervical spine, a characteristic pain is felt in the back of the head and neck, there is a limitation of the mobility of the neck. Thoracic osteochondrosis is characterized by pain along the entire spine, due to which it is impossible to stay upright for a long time. And osteochondrosis of the lumbar spine is manifested by pain in the lower back with sudden movements. At first they are insignificant, but they gradually increase and sometimes are unbearable.
With osteochondrosis, it is recommended to reduce physical activity and adhere to bed rest. In acute illness, physiotherapeutic procedures, drugs that reduce reflex muscle tension, massage are used. And in especially severe cases, even surgical operations are performed.
Osteochondrosis can cause sciatica
Salts are deposited at the junction of the vertebrae with the altered discs, which cause bone growth. With physical exertion, they move with the discs, squeezing the nerve roots passing in the intervertebral foramen and causing pain.
Distinguish between thoracic, cervicobrachial and lumbosacral radiculitis. Symptoms of this disease are pain in the area of the affected nerves, aggravated by movement, coughing, and limitation of the mobility of the vertebrae.
In the acute period of sciatica, bed rest is prescribed, always on a hard bed
With sciatica, it is recommended to take analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs, and novocaine blockade is also used. As the pain decreases, physiotherapy, massage and therapeutic exercises are performed.

Reflexology method with pepper plaster relieves back pain well
This method of pain relief came from the East. The pepper patch contains paprika extract, arnica tincture, thick belladonna extract, pine rosin, liquid paraffin and other components, a mixture of which is applied to pieces of cotton cloth. Before applying the patch, degrease the skin with alcohol, ether or cologne and wipe dry.
There are 2 ways to apply the patch. You can stick the entire large sheet on the pain zone, while capturing part of the painless space. Or you can stick small pieces of pepper plaster (about 1×1 centimeter) only on specially selected biologically active points.
In case of severe burning, the plaster must be removed and the skin is lubricated with petroleum jelly. Do not put a patch on moles and birthmarks
For example, for acute and chronic low back pain, find a restorative point on your back. It is located at waist level in the groove between the 2nd and 3rd lumbar vertebrae. Stick a square of pepper plaster into this recess. This point relieves pain in the lumbar region very well.
