Previously, many did not even think about the dangers of household chemicals – they washed both adults and children’s things with the same powder. Today, there are safe and hypoallergenic detergents – universal and special. “I was born” – a powder created for washing children’s clothes.

Roskontrol sent AOS “I was born” to the black list. It was found that it does not meet safety requirements – toxicity is above the norm. The latter was determined by the in vitro method (in vitro). The reason is the high content of residual surfactants after the 3rd rinse. To remove toxic substances from clothes, additional rinses are needed – 5 or more times.
Customer Reviews
Among the reviews there are both positive and sharply negative responses. Let’s see what consumers say – mostly moms leave reviews.
Pros
What users liked:
- Things do not acquire the smell of detergent.
- Cleans things up well.
- The skin of children is not irritated by contact with washed things.
- Доступная цена.
- Rinse well.
- Dissolves quickly in water.
- Foams well.
- Things become soft – no need to apply conditioner.
- After washing, things are easily ironed out.
- Does not cause allergies.
- Works well on any item.
Cons
What I didn’t like at all:
- If the dosage is exceeded, things acquire a pungent odor. Conclusion – carefully measure the prescribed dose.
- Doesn’t completely remove stains – has to be washed. But not all dirt is equally easy to wash off, even the strongest products often cannot cope with old stains. For this case there is powder enhancers and stain removers.
“Testing”
Results of “testing” from consumers:
- When washing a white jacket, the result was excellent – all the dirt was removed. For some reason, the colored T-shirt washed out worse – although the option was used specifically for colored linen. There were old stains on the T-shirt, they brightened, but did not disappear. Users love washing with baby powders and adult clothes, and manufacturers are meeting them halfway. So, “Nefis Cosmetics” produces an analogue with the addition “for the family.”
- Suitable for light dirt in express mode. But for such a low price – this is a good result.
- When washing a T-shirt, it was not possible to remove stains from apple juice. Inferior to competitors in cleaning power. Suitable for light everyday washing, not suitable for heavily soiled clothes.
- It was not possible to wash the blouses soaked in puree – stains remained.
- The version for white products whitens well.
Safety issue
Many mothers wonder if this powder is toxic, if it harms the health of children. This question is incomprehensible to them, since it is difficult to understand the composition, and phosphonates cover a huge number of compounds – and it is not known which of them are included in the composition.
The manufacturer removed phosphates, but the composition still contains harmful components:
- Phosphonates. Under certain conditions, they can be transformed into phosphates. The effect of phosphonates on the human body is almost the same as that of phosphates.
- Zeolites. Lead to breakdown of washing machines. They are not rinsed out of fabric fibers – they are encrusted and destroyed. Wash at high temperatures.
It is impossible to talk about the environmental friendliness and safety of products represented by the brand in question.
Conclusions
Summing up:
- It contains phosphonates. They are not as harmful as phosphates and can have a variety of properties. Some phosphonates are almost harmless, others are poisonous. In any case, their content in a product intended for washing children’s clothes is undesirable.
- In children’s laundry detergents, responsible parents put safety at the forefront and only then the quality of washing.
- The opinions of users were divided – from “I will only wash them” to the categorical “he is terrible.” Probably, the matter is in the requests, which each consumer has his own. Some wash barely soiled linen, others dream of washing old and difficult stains at a time, for which it is necessary to use special household chemicals.
Laundry detergent “I was born” is an inexpensive domestic product designed for undemanding customers. It does not erase well and is not safe at the same time. Its composition is doubtful, and Roskontrol was not passed by it – this is enough to arouse distrust.
