And the first thing that parents should decide on is whether the baby will sleep in a rather large wooden bed (it is more practical, suitable for children under three years old) or whether it is worth buying him a hanging cradle. In the cradle, babies sleep up to a maximum of six months. Its main advantage is that it is easier to rock a child in it. Although some children, despite all the adaptations, calmly fall asleep only in the arms of their mother. Therefore, the cradle can hang idle for the entire period assigned to it.
But what can be recommended for absolutely any baby cot, it must be of high quality. When purchasing a thing, smell it if there is a specific chemical smell from it. Rub the paint to see if it smudges. Shake the crib or bassinet to see if it rattles, or if parts are clinging to each other. All this is very important, many babies sleep lightly, any rustle can wake them up.
If you have doubts about the quality of goods for children, ask the seller for a certificate of conformity, as well as a sanitary certificate.
A set of bed linen and a canopy is another important purchase. Choose soft sheets and duvet covers that won’t hurt your baby’s delicate skin. There is no need to buy many kits. At first, the baby will sleep in diapers, and you will not have to constantly change the bed. A canopy is needed if the cradle is in a very bright room. At first, the child will sleep a lot, and so that the bright sun does not wake him up, you can close the curtains of the canopy. In addition, the canopy above the bed gives the baby a feeling of comfort and security. The large area of the room can scare him.

Agree with friends and relatives in advance who and what will give you in connection with the birth of a child. Otherwise, there is a chance of getting three strollers and five bottle sterilizers
Before the baby appears in the house, it is worth buying only those things that are absolutely needed. These items include:
– diapers; – baby thermometer in the form of a nipple; – three to four thin diapers; – several undershirts and sliders; – shampoo and detergent; – hypoallergenic powder for washing; – one bottle (for water) if the baby is breastfed; – a set of bottles and a can of formula, if the baby is fed artificially; – a thin flannel blanket.
Everything else – rattles, pillows, bottle warmers, bibs, suits, baby monitor, etc. – you will gain in the process of growth of the baby, when you feel the need for it.
