The method of growing tomatoes “Babushkino”
Seeds are sown for seedlings 60 days before planting seedlings in the ground. When transplanting into a greenhouse or on open ground, the distance between the bushes should be at least 50 cm, and between rows – up to 80 cm.
Seeds should be collected from late fruits, since tomatoes of the first harvest are practically seedless. The best, not overripe tomato is selected, and the seeds are immediately extracted from it
Formation of 2-3 stems and pinching are required. Due to the presence of large fruits and the high height of the bush, the trunk may break, so it is necessary to make a garter. The plant should be fed several times during the season. The culture is moisture-loving and needs abundant watering. Before that, it is better to defend water in greenhouses. You also need to huddle, weed, and loosen the ground if necessary.
Since the variety is resistant to disease, no special preparations are needed. And from pests and insects, you can use folk recipes.
Tomato variety “Babushkino” has become popular among summer residents in different regions of Russia due to its large harvest and pleasant taste.
