– Not only. I was also inspired by the glowing shade of green itself – chartreuse. This is a very memorable and energetic shade that awakens feelings and imagination. Chartreuse is the most visible color to the human eye. I believe this shade embodies eccentricity. It is a beautiful, explosive accent that can be used to color a sophisticated, minimalist collection of clothes. I have been using this method since my earliest fashion design experiences.
Does the bottle of Christian Lacroix Absynthe itself say a lot about you?
– This fragrance fully embodies my aesthetic vision: in I combine my vision of European history with the luxurious sensuality inherent in our days.
How do you feel when inhaling this scent?
“Mystery is definitely the first association that comes to mind. The scent is very sexy, but only at the level of a quivering hint. This is the appeal of pure shyness.
How would you describe the one wearing the Christian Lacroix Absynthe?
– When I think about this scent, I imagine a beautiful mythical sorceress. She knows the secret of a magic potion that bewitches everyone around and helps her fulfill her whims. There is something dangerous about this, but incredibly attractive. The lady who wears Christian Lacroix Absynthe is beautiful, eccentric and enveloping seductive. It is impossible to be fed up with such a woman.
Why did you decide to create this fragrance with Avon?
– And my fashion house, create creations that reveal the best and the most beautiful in a woman. The experience of creating Rouge and Noir was amazing, and these fragrances have become the most successful in the world. The idea of Christian Lacroix Absynthe seemed to me the perfect next step in our joint project. And while working on this fragrance, I never ceased to be amazed at how deeply Avon understands a woman and how famous and popular this brand is in the world.
