Avocado and tomato salad: a noble classic. Video recipe
Delicate avocado and juicy tomato are two beneficial ingredients for a hearty yet light salad. Light delicious avocado salad with tomatoes and cheese
Ingredients: – 1 ripe avocado; – 150 g cherry tomatoes; – 1 small head of red onion; – 100 g mozzarella; – 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar; – 1 tbsp. salad olive oil; – 0,5 tsp. dry basil; – salt; – a pinch of ground black pepper.
Cut the avocado lengthwise with a knife and divide into halves. Use a spoon to remove the hard core and skin. Cut the fruit pulp into thin longitudinal slices and arrange nicely on a wide flat plate.
To prevent the avocado from darkening and spoiling the appearance of the salad, sprinkle the slices with lemon juice
Spread the halves of the cherry tomatoes on top. Cut the onion into half rings and scatter them over the vegetables. Season the dish with a little salt and sprinkle with finely grated mozzarella.
Prepare the sauce by mixing vinegar and oil with black pepper and basil in a bowl. Pour the dressing over the salad. Festive salad of avocado with tomatoes and shrimps
Ingredients: – 1 avocado; – 1 large tomato; – 250 g of peeled small shrimps; – 1 clove of garlic; – 20 g fresh green basil leaves; – 100 ml of cream of 10% fat; – 1 tbsp. lime juice; – 2 drops of hot sauce (chili, tabasco, salsa); – 0,5 tsp salt; – a pinch of ground black pepper; – 1 tbsp. butter.
Fry the shrimps in butter for 2 minutes along with crushed garlic. Cut the tomato into small cubes and the basil into small strips. Cut the avocado lengthwise, remove the pit and carefully remove the pulp with a spoon, leaving the skins intact. Cut it into slices and mix with tomato, herbs and cooled shrimp, salt. Pour lime juice into the cream, pepper and gently drip hot sauce. Season the salad and spread over the avocado skins.
Mexican guacamole avocado appetizer
Ingredients: – 1 avocado; – 2 very ripe tomatoes; – 0,5 onions; – 20 g of parsley; – 0,5 lemon juice; – a pinch of salt.
Mash the avocado pulp well. In tomatoes, cut the core, leaving only the dense part, and chop finely. Dice the onion and chop the parsley. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, salt and season with lemon juice. Serve this traditional Mexican salad dressing with corn chips.
