Aviomarin – pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should remember never to take any medication without consulting a doctor. At this particular time, it is very important to clarify all doubts about the risks and benefits of using it with your doctor before taking any preparation. Consultation is also recommended for women planning or trying to conceive.

Aviomarin is not a drug recommended in the third trimester of pregnancy. Moreover, the use of the drug in the first and second trimesters is allowed only when the physician deems it absolutely necessary, which means that in his opinion the expected benefits are higher than the possible risks associated with the administration of the drug. Remember that this is what the doctor evaluates the risk of administering Aviomarin during this period of pregnancy.

Remember!

The active substance of Aviomarin, i.e. dimenhydrinate, passes into breast milk. This means that breastfeeding women should not use Aviomarin, unless the doctor considers it necessary and decides that the benefits of using the medicine outweigh the possible risks. Most often, the doctor recommends taking certain precautions and performing regular check-ups in such a situation.
